October Daze

Hello People,
It's been awhile since I blogged I figured I should do something about that. My favorite time of the year has finally arrived and I am beyond excited that the month of Halloween is finally upon us yet again. I look forward to watching classic horror films on TV that I have seen a billion times but never seem to get sick of. Unlike most years I think I'm going to make a strong effort this time around to hit up a haunted house or some other "spooky" event that occurs this time of the year. It's also a great month because of Oktoberfest, which always ends up being a great night of drinks and bumping into people I haven't seen since the previous year at Oktoberfest haha. I hope all of you reading this are well and experiencing life to its fullest. Take care!

Sizzlin' Summer

Hey guys, 
I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer up to this point. For me it has consisted of BBQ's, pools, shows, and last weekend I went to a friend's wedding which was actually kind of a trip because I saw some people I hadn't seen in close to a decade. Next week I'm going to be taking a solo road trip and visit some friends I don't normally get to hang with. While it has been nice relaxing and enjoying the summer sun, I'm looking forward to getting back onto the stage and rocking out with my boys! We are still confirming some days but new shows will be up soon! Until then friends, be safe and get your rock on!

Here Come The Fourth

Well it's hard to believe that it's summer already, it seems like time goes by faster and faster the older you get. I'm looking forward to my 4th of July weekend. Tonight I'm going to Hollywood to see Matthew Sikora perform with his solo project and tomorrow I'm headed to LA to see 2 of my friends' bands perform. I'm hoping the rest of my weekend will consist of swimming pools, basketball games and barbecued food. Aside from this weekend I'm also stoked to get back on stage with my boys. Phathom is currently booking some new shows (which will be posted as soon as they are confirmed) and we are trying to hit up some areas we haven't played at in awhile so I hope to see some old faces in the upcoming weeks ahead. I feel thanks are in order to everyone that has spread the word about our new song "California Way", the support from the fans never ceases to amaze me and the feedback we have received has been awesome! Anyways friends I wish all of you a safe and fun holiday weekend, take care!

THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE CARAVAN

Hello people,

Welcome to another one of my rants, aka blogs, about events of the musical realm. Last weekend Yannick and I, along with what I liked to call The Fellowship of the Caravan of Coachella, attended the 3 day festival and survived! It was my first time attending Coachella and my expectations were completely blown out of the water. There was an insane amount of people, it took 3 hours just to get into the camping grounds. It was a lot of fun camping out but the heat drained all of us of energy at some point during each day. I bumped into a lot of people I knew including some old friends from Warped Tour that I hadn't seen in years which made the experience more the better. Some of my favorite performances included The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, The Chemical Brothers, Gogol Bordello, and Mumford and Sons which I only caught part of due to issues beyond my control hahaha. I had some eye opening experiences and really discovered how lucky I am to have the friends I have in my life. 

This weekend I will be celebrating my 28th birthday. Instead of getting me a present, you should just come out to the next Phathom show which is on April 29th at Amplyfi down on Melrose.
